Handmade crochet bag with fabric lining, sustainably made from recycled cotton yarn and textile waste.

Suiting its name, this unique “Estrella bag” is made of elegant star stitches. The golden lining with its gentle pattern gives this bag a nostalgic vintage feeling.

This bag is entirely handmade, so the size can vary slightly. The strap is kept rather short, because it will likely stretch a little over time.

MATERIAL

Recycled cotton yarn (made from textile waste, 85% cotton, 15% other recycled fibers), magnet button, metal snap hooks, waste fabric

The lining is made of textile “waste” - a piece of fabric that would have been dumped, even though it’s still perfectly usable. Because of this, I don’t know its components - it might be a synthetic mix.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

It’s best to wash this bag as little as possible. Consider using an impregnation spray to help prevent moisture and dirt. Check if the spray is suitable for the material (outside: cotton) and mind that it could darken the color.

- Wash by hand with mild laundry detergent, no bleaching!
- If possible, wash only affected areas
- No sponges, no rubbing
- Do not wring out! Use a towel to gently press out excess water
- Lay open bag on flat surface to air dry, turn if needed
